Venezuelan Duhkha Levitation
DUBKHA, a collective piece by Violette Bule and Miyo Van Stenis in a collective creation (2014). Duhkha, a term which in Buddhism is associated with suffering. Is the concept that spins the piece, shows a series of icons relating to contemporary cosmology consumption and banality that are floating around the Hindu god Ganesha, patron of the arts and sciences, God of intelligence and wisdom. The aspirations of a society that suffers deep stubborn cultural crisis by consumption.
